Retirement News – Dr Simon D Jenkins

Dear Patient,

Retirement News – Dr Simon D Jenkins (BDS)

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that I will be ‘hanging up my dental tools’ and finally retired from dentistry on Friday 26th February 2021.

I have had the pleasure of working in dentistry for over 35 years with most of these spent at Russell Street Dental Clinic providing NHS and private dental care to people living in Swansea and the surrounding area, some from as far away as Cardigan and Brecon.

I have been able to get to know many of my patients over the years and have provided dental care to generations of families ie seeing children become adults, who then become parents and continue to bring their children to the clinic.

The COVID pandemic, has regrettably, prevented me from seeing many of my regular patients during the past 12 months.  In more normal times I would have had the chance to personally say thank you for continuing to see me over these many years.

I would like to reassure you that Russell Street Dental Clinic will be in safe hands for many years to come and will continue to provide excellent NHS and private dental care to the local population. I am 100% confident in the team and most faces will already be very familiar to you.  There are 3 dentists, one hygienist and 6 nurses/receptionists working in this small yet very busy clinic who are dedicated to welcoming and caring for patients.

Please note that, despite COVID, the clinic is currently providing a full range of dental treatments.

Should you have any concerns regarding your teeth or gums please do not hesitate to ring the clinic on 01792 654531 and they will be happy to help.

I hope you have kept well during these challenging times and wish you all the very best for the future.

With kind regards

Dr Simon D Jenkins (BDS)
